Why can’t I access Legatics 1 anymore?
Legatics 1 has reached the end of its life, and was officially retired on 3 January 2025 after a 3 year transition period.
What's happened to my matters on Legatics 1?
Since early 2022, we’ve been working closely with our customers to either:
export and remove old matters from Legatics 1; or
migrate them to Legatics 2
As a result, the data from your matters has either been exported to the organization’s internal systems or moved to Legatics 2.
Tip: To find out where your matter data is now located, please contact the organization that hosted the matter.
Do I need a new account to access matters migrated to Legatics 2?
Yes. Learn how to do this here.
Heads-up: The Matter Admin still needs to invite you to the matter before you can access it. Just creating an account won't give you access.
Who can I contact for support?
It depends on your situation:
If you are a customer of Legatics: Please reach out to your internal Legatics contact. We've been discussing the end-of-life transition with them, and they can guide you through the next steps.
If you are not a customer of Legatics: Contact the organization that hosted the matter. They will be able to provide more information on the transition.
